Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 30, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a VidGlade account, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Content Guidelines, AI Content Policy, and Copyright and Takedown Policy (collectively, the "Agreement"). If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

2. The Service

VidGlade provides AI-assisted tools for creating short-form video content, including AI-generated scripts, images, voice narration, music, captions, and rendered video files. The Service also provides optional publishing tools for uploading completed videos to YouTube via the user's own Google account.

3. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • The prompts, instructions, and any uploaded material you submit to VidGlade.
  • The content you generate, modify, download, distribute, monetize, or publish using VidGlade.
  • Verifying that any content you publish complies with applicable laws and with the terms of any platform (including YouTube) where you publish it.
  • Obtaining all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any third-party material included in your prompts, uploads, or finished content.
  • Your conduct on the Service and any consequences arising from your use of generated content.

VidGlade does not review content on your behalf before publication. Moderation is intended to screen out clearly prohibited prompts; it is not a substitute for your own review.

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not use VidGlade to create, request, distribute, or facilitate content described in our Content Guidelines, including but not limited to: sexually explicit material, child exploitation, illegal drug production or trafficking, weapons or dangerous instructions, serious violence, criminal activity, cybercrime, fraud, harassment, non-consensual intimate content, and other unlawful or dangerous content.

Violations may result in: generation refusal, content removal, account restrictions, suspension, termination, and where legally required, review or reporting to appropriate authorities.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated content may contain factual inaccuracies, misleading statements, copyright or trademark concerns, inappropriate or unexpected material, or content that violates third-party platform policies. AI outputs may also require additional rights, licenses, or permissions before publication.

VidGlade does not guarantee that generated content is accurate, original, non-infringing, lawful, suitable for a particular purpose, or eligible for monetization on any platform.

Rights in AI outputs depend on applicable law, the source materials, the service terms of the AI provider, and any relevant third-party licenses. VidGlade does not represent that you automatically own exclusive copyright in all AI outputs. See our AI Content Policy for more information.

6. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your activity creates legal exposure for VidGlade, or if required to protect the Service or other users. We may also suspend or terminate accounts for repeated policy violations.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@vidglade.com. Account deletion does not automatically remove content you have already published to third-party platforms such as YouTube.

7. Third-Party Service Dependencies

The Service depends on third-party providers including AI generation services, video rendering (FFmpeg), Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting), and YouTube (publishing). We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any third-party service. Changes to third-party terms, outages, or rate limits may affect the Service without notice.

YouTube is a third-party service provided by Google LLC. VidGlade is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with YouTube or Google. You are responsible for complying with YouTube's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when uploading videos generated with VidGlade.

8. Copyright and Intellectual Property

You retain responsibility for ensuring that any content you generate, upload, or publish does not infringe the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties. See our Copyright and Takedown Policy for our notice-and-takedown process.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VidGlade and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • Your decisions to publish content.
  • Third-party copyright or other intellectual property claims arising from your content.
  • Account restrictions, suspensions, or terminations imposed by third-party platforms (including YouTube).
  • Rejected uploads, loss of monetization, loss of subscribers, loss of views, or loss of revenue.
  • Reputational harm.
  • Factual inaccuracies or misleading statements in AI-generated content.
  • Third-party service failures or interruptions.
  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VidGlade's total liability arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you have paid to VidGlade in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) [OWNER REVIEW REQUIRED — monetary liability cap to be confirmed by counsel]. For users on the free tier, this cap is intended to be the maximum amount permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that applicable law prohibits excluding, including liability for VidGlade's own unlawful conduct or gross negligence where applicable law so provides.

10. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VidGlade and its operators from and against any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your unlawful use of the Service.
  • Your infringing uploaded or generated content.
  • Your violation of third-party rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
  • Your breach of these Terms.
  • Your unauthorized publication or distribution of content.
  • Your misuse of generated content.

You agree to promptly notify VidGlade of any claim subject to indemnification, allow VidGlade to participate in defense and settlement discussions, and not settle without VidGlade's consent where settlement would impose obligations on VidGlade.

Indemnification does not apply where prohibited by consumer protection law.

11. Dispute Resolution

[OWNER REVIEW REQUIRED — governing law, jurisdiction, and dispute resolution procedure to be confirmed by counsel. Common options include: arbitration with venue in the operating entity's state, small-claims carve-out, class-action waiver, 30-day informal resolution period.]

12. Applicable Law

[OWNER REVIEW REQUIRED — governing law to be confirmed. Suggested: the laws of the state or country where the VidGlade operating entity is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.]

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will require you to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use restricted features (generation, download, publishing). We will not silently change material terms without appropriate notice.
