Copyright and Takedown Policy

Effective Date: October 30, 2026

This policy describes VidGlade's approach to copyright and intellectual property complaints.

1. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you upload, generate, or publish through VidGlade does not infringe the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties. This includes prompts that reference third-party characters, brands, music, or other protected material.

VidGlade does not review content for IP clearance before generation or publication. AI-generated content may inadvertently reproduce or resemble third-party material; you bear the risk of publishing such content.

2. No Impersonation

You may not use VidGlade to impersonate another person, brand, or organization in a manner that is unlawful or that would mislead others.

3. Notice-and-Takedown Process

If you believe that content generated or hosted on VidGlade infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to support@vidglade.com. Your notice should include:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
3. Identification of the material on VidGlade that is claimed to be infringing (URL or description sufficient to locate it).
4. Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • Notify the user who posted the material.
  • Keep a record of the notice and our response.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to support@vidglade.com containing:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email.
5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if outside the United States, the district in which VidGlade is located) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action against you.

5. Repeat-Infringer Policy

We will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

6. DMCA Designated Agent

[OWNER REVIEW REQUIRED — To qualify for DMCA safe-harbor protections under U.S. law, VidGlade must designate a DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office and provide the agent's name, address, phone number, and email in this policy. This requires:
1. Designating an agent (an individual or entity).
2. Registering the agent with the U.S. Copyright Office (https://dmca.copyright.gov/).
3. Paying the registration fee (currently $6 as of 2024).
4. Updating this policy with the registered agent's details.
Until this is done, VidGlade does not claim DMCA safe-harbor eligibility.]

7. Trademark Complaints

If you believe content on VidGlade infringes your trademark, contact support@vidglade.com with details of the mark, the allegedly infringing material, and your contact information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Copyright and Takedown Policy. Material changes will require renewed acceptance.
